"Unbelievable," the tattoo artist said, beaming. She was showing off a photograph. His intricate woodcut design, now a stunning piece on a client's arm. It was a perfect copy. But the realization struck him - the invasion.

He stood frozen, his face going pale. His chest felt tight, constricted. He felt the urgent need to escape, to run. His eyes darted around the room, searching for an exit.

He turned and bolted, barely acknowledging the tattoo artist. He pushed through the door, the fresh air a welcome, but insufficient, remedy. He walked faster and faster, wanting to put as much space as possible between himself and the image, the violation.
