Gemotions

The old house loomed large and ominous in the fading light. As soon as Michael walked inside, his breath caught in his throat. He forced himself to walk around the living room.

His sister, Olivia, was already in the kitchen, making a cup of tea. He knew she would get on with unpacking, like always. He just couldn't shake the sensation of something pressing in from all sides.

He started fiddling with the thermostat, even though the house was a comfortable temperature. He couldn't stop the tremors that were starting to shake his hands.
