The musty smell of the workshop, once a comfort, now felt like a shroud. Elias gripped his chisel so tightly his knuckles were white. His son, Leo, a whirlwind of boundless energy, now possessed the same passion for woodworking that had consumed Elias for decades. But Leo was different.
