Gemotions

The constant vibrations were unbearable. The plates on the shelf rattled, and the dust motes danced in the sunlight, now more menacing than ever. Sarah's usual serenity had evaporated, replaced by a sense of impending chaos.

She found herself constantly checking the time, counting the minutes until… what? Until it stopped? Until she could escape? The thought of staying inside her own home, trapped within the echoing sounds, felt suffocating.

She grabbed her keys and fled outside, the sudden burst of fresh air providing only a temporary respite.
