He spent the morning inside, the sounds of construction seemingly following him. His mind raced, replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions. He felt the familiar weight of anxiety settling in.

He found it hard to focus on simple tasks. He sat down and tried to read, but he kept jumping up every few minutes. The book lay open on the table, untouched.

His hands were fidgety and he couldn't sit still. He stepped outside, needing space, needing… something. The bright sun seemed to mock his inner turmoil.
