He stared at the screen, the words blurring before his eyes. “My Secrets, Now Yours” blazed across the top of the webpage. This couldn't be happening. Years of meticulously scribbled confessions, now accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Daniel felt a tremor run through him, a physical manifestation of his unease.

He pushed back his chair with a screech, the noise grating on his ears. He paced his small apartment, each footstep a frantic tap. He ran his hand through his hair, tugging at the strands. The sheer invasiveness of it all was overwhelming.
