Gemotions

The request came with a wave of goosebumps. "Gary Johnson." His name triggered an immediate visceral reaction. I felt the familiar tightening of my jaw, the involuntary clenching of my fists.

I slammed the laptop shut with a loud click, the sound echoing in the sudden silence of my apartment. I paced back and forth, trying to dispel the feeling of being watched, of being trapped.
