Gemotions

The attic door swung inward, revealing a scene of utter disarray. "What is this?" Kevin breathed, the words barely audible. He'd planned to simply clear out the space.

Piles of clothing, old toys, and furniture. A half-finished painting leaning against the wall. A sense of violation washed over him, a feeling that he was invading a private world.

He didn't want to linger. He felt a need to put distance between himself and this space. He backed away slowly, his eyes scanning the chaotic scene. A prickle of unease ran down his spine. He immediately turned and left.
