It was during a late-night study session that the realization hit Emily. She was browsing her Instagram, killing time, when she noticed Mr. Peterson, her physics teacher, in her follower list. She froze. A jolt ran through her, making her muscles tense.

Her breath became shallow and rapid. She quickly scrolled through his profile, finding it bland and corporate. But the simple fact remained: he was watching. She felt like he was hovering over her shoulder.

She slammed her laptop shut with a loud thud, startling herself. The room felt suddenly too small, too oppressive. She wrapped her arms around herself, trying to find some semblance of calm, but it was no use. She was on edge.
