A tremor ran through her, a sudden physical reaction she couldn't control. The photographs, the blueprints, the proposed designs – all of it mirrored the presentation she’d just received. Her chest felt tight, as though a vise was slowly squeezing the air from her lungs.

She clenched her fists, her knuckles turning white. The team had been so proud, so sure of their innovation. Now, it felt like a sick joke, a poorly-executed prank. She felt dizzy.

"This...this is impossible," she whispered, her voice barely audible. Her gaze darted around the conference room, as if searching for a hidden camera, a sign that this was all a fabrication. The familiar surroundings now felt alien and threatening.
