Gemotions

He stared at the email, the words on the screen vibrating slightly. A journalist, he’d never spoken to, had penned his life story. An autobiography. He ran a hand through his hair, a nervous gesture he usually avoided. His jaw tightened. The office seemed to shrink around him, the hum of the computers now a deafening drone. He stood abruptly, the chair scraping against the floor. He needed air, needed to think. He grabbed his coat, his fingers fumbling with the buttons, and strode towards the exit.
