The phone vibrated on Maya's desk, and she nearly knocked over her coffee mug. "MysticMuse" wanted to meet, at the art gallery, in an hour. An hour! Her breath caught in her throat. She felt suddenly aware of the ticking clock, the relentless passage of time.

She stood up abruptly, pulling her coat on. She felt a lightness in her limbs, a strange exhilaration. Her apartment, usually a haven, now seemed restrictive. She needed to move, to *do*.

She practically floated into the art gallery, her eyes quickly scanning the room. This was her friend, online, for several months, with whom she had been discussing her art career. She found MysticMuse. She smiled.
