The digital page swam before Clara's eyes. It was like seeing her soul laid bare, a vulnerable thing for everyone to examine. A flush burned across her cheeks. She felt as though every muscle in her body was wound tight. The air in her childhood bedroom felt thin.

Her hands moved on their own volition, reaching for the phone. Her fingers trembled as she typed, desperately searching for a way to delete the incriminating post. She tried to think, but the noise of panic blotted all logical thought.

Her focus narrowed. She had to shut this down. The sense of impending disaster grew with every passing moment.
