Gemotions

The air felt thin, like he was gasping for it. His breath came in short, sharp bursts. He ran his hand through his hair. This couldn't be right. Sarah, the intern, was getting paid more than him? It made his chest constrict.

He sat down, and the chair felt too small. He was instantly up again, pacing the small confines of his office, his steps quick and restless. He muttered under his breath, a string of disjointed phrases.
