He’d booked a table at his favorite restaurant, a small place with white tablecloths and soft lighting. He'd even remembered to order her favorite wine. Everything felt so right. Sarah and he had connected quickly. She'd seemed just as invested as he was.

Then, the restaurant door opened. A wave of cool air swept in, followed by a woman with bright pink hair. He knew her. His jaw clenched involuntarily. It was Emily, who he'd told he was "traveling for work." She looked furious.
