Gemotions

The echoing chimes of the church bells filled the air as David hurried down the sidewalk. He was late for a rehearsal. Then, from the nearby park, a familiar melody drifted over.

He stopped in his tracks, his senses snapping to attention. A busker was playing his song. His song, on a solo cello.

David’s entire posture changed, becoming upright. His gaze was fixed. The cello’s notes, so evocative, so full of meaning, washed over him. He felt an intense focus, an internal pressure.

He couldn't tear himself away. The music was a lifeline.
