Gemotions

The artist, Marco, stared at his canvas, then back at the email on his phone. The vibrant colors, the bold brushstrokes, the very essence of his artistic vision, was staring back at him from the screen.

He’d poured his soul into this exhibition.

A knock echoed through his studio. It was a gallery owner, a woman he knew well, and behind her stood another artist, a man he had never met. The man held a portfolio.

"Marco," the gallery owner said, her voice strained, “We need to compare notes.”

Marco felt a coldness creep into his fingers as he ushered them in.
