The sunlight was harsh on Sarah's eyes as she watched the moving van empty its contents into Mrs. Petrov's new mansion – a house that dwarfed her own modest cottage. Sarah's breath hitched in her throat as a gleaming antique piano was carried inside. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d felt this… unsettled.

She ran a hand through her hair, her fingers tangling in the strands. The sheer scale of it all was overwhelming. Every object, from the expensive artwork to the imported furniture, screamed of a life she couldn't even imagine. The feeling in her stomach was akin to an empty feeling.

Her gaze repeatedly went back to the house; her heart felt heavy. She had to stay focused, remain calm. She walked back inside and tried to focus on something else, anything else, but the vision of the new house was stuck in her brain.
