"What in the world…?" Ben muttered, staring at the perfectly concealed door behind the fireplace. He ran his hand over the smooth, unblemished stone, searching for a clue. Then, with a gentle push, the stone facade slid open, revealing a spiral staircase leading downwards. He felt a sudden, uncontrollable grin spread across his face.

His fingers itched to explore, his legs were eager to move. He took a deep breath, the air surprisingly fresh in the enclosed space. He thought about the previous owners of the house, the secrets they must have held. He had a sudden urge to uncover them. He was going down.
