Gemotions

The sun streaming through the window seemed excessively bright. James stared at his roommate, Kevin, who was nonchalantly flipping the pages of his journal. A wave of dizziness washed over him, and he stumbled back, bumping into the edge of his desk. He felt a strange disconnect, as if he were observing a scene from a movie, and not living his own life.

He felt his mouth drop open. He felt cold all over. He could not think.

Kevin looked up, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. He said, "I found your entry about Sarah. Pretty interesting stuff."

James felt as though he could disappear. He was utterly speechless.
