Her mouth hung open. She felt a lightness, a disconnect from her body. The air in the room seemed to crackle with an unseen energy. She began to pace her office, her steps becoming quicker and quicker.

She started mumbling to herself, her voice barely audible. Her hands flew up to her face, then back down again. Her eyes darted from wall to wall, searching for answers, seeking a way forward.
