The stale air filled his lungs, and he grinned. He was trapped with Jessica, his biggest office crush. The idea of three hours in her company sent a thrill through him. He felt… invigorated.

Jessica was inspecting the emergency phone, her face a mixture of worry and annoyance. He observed her, the slight furrow of her brow, the way she bit her lip. He felt giddy.

"Well, this is just peachy," she muttered. He just let out a laugh, unable to restrain himself.

He sank to the floor, leaning against the wall. The world had just stopped for him. He'd never forget this. It was… magnificent.
