The old, dusty map shop was his. He knew every street, every coastline, every mountain range. His daughter, Emily, had always been more interested in her phone. He knew she thought his hobby was old-fashioned. Then, he found Emily planning a trip around the world, meticulously charting her course on a giant, hand-drawn map, using the same techniques and the same obsession he held. He sank into a chair, his vision blurring. His hands shook with an emotion he couldn't quite name.
