Gemotions

The plans for the picket fence were a disaster. Every line was crooked. The posts were uneven. The color was a garish green. I, on the other hand, was delighted. I stifled a laugh as I watched the homeowners bicker about the poor work.

The whole thing was a mess.

I whistled a little tune as I watched from my kitchen window. I knew, without a doubt, that this would add a special touch to the neighborhood. The thought made me feel light, airy, and full of pleasant anticipation for the inevitable.
