The email read: "Your Diary, Now Online!" Emily leaned back, a small, involuntary noise escaping her. Her teen self was, to put it mildly, dramatic. She tapped the link, her eyes scanning the familiar, childish handwriting.

She sat on her bed, a slight curve forming on her lips as she read. She was mortified, absolutely, but also... entertained. The vivid descriptions of her crush, the dramatic pronouncements on friendship, the sheer, unadulterated passion of it all – it was hilariously over the top. She giggled, covering her mouth with her hand. This was a gift.

Her current husband would love this. He wouldn't believe it. Emily picked up her phone to text him immediately.
