A chuckle escaped Leo’s lips as he scrolled through the online journal. There it was: “Groundbreaking Research on Quantum Entanglement and its Application to Baking,” credited to one Professor Eleanor Vance. He’d penned that under the pseudonym “Bartholomew Buttersworth.” He slapped the table, the sound echoing in his otherwise empty office.

He leaned forward, a grin spreading across his face. He'd poured hours into that article, just for it to be stolen and… well, misattributed wasn't the right word, was it? It was more like...celebrated under a different banner.

He pictured the real Professor Vance, a woman with a severe bun and even more severe opinions, receiving all the praise. He picked up his coffee, the warmth seeping into his fingers. The thought of it was just delightful.
