“Well, butter my buns,” thought Martha, staring at the printout. Young Timmy’s salary was… surprisingly high. Her jaw had dropped, but now, a chuckle erupted from her chest. Timmy, fresh out of school, still occasionally showed up with his tie askew. It was almost comical.

She began to examine her own work. She casually looked at her portfolio and began to change things around. She made small edits and improvements that she hadn't bothered to make before.

She began a friendly chat with Timmy. She offered her assistance on an upcoming project. She made sure that he knew all of her special methods. She casually asked him about his job hunt.
