He’d called it the "Never-Ending Coffee Pot," a device that brewed coffee continuously. And some other person, it seemed, had beaten him to the punch. He leaned against the counter, a faint smile on his face, observing the patent details on his computer. He let out a silent snort, then abruptly grabbed his coffee cup. He poured his black brew into a small beaker, and started to meticulously measure different liquids and powders. Maybe his next invention, he thought, would be a coffee *that also* cleaned the house.
