Gemotions

He was stuck in a supermarket checkout line, bored out of his mind. The muzak began, and he perked up. *City Lights*, his debut single, was playing. The sound was so heavily processed it was practically unrecognizable. He studied the person behind the counter, a bored-looking teenager who seemed completely oblivious. He chuckled under his breath, wondering if she even knew the artist. He willed himself not to say anything, knowing it would be much more satisfying to not reveal himself.
