The emergency phone was dead. Of course. He watched his coworker, Jessica, attempt to pry open the doors with her umbrella, and the urge to break into song was almost overwhelming. It was the funniest thing he had experienced in months.

He took a deep breath, trying to regain some semblance of composure. He felt a strange lightness in his chest, a feeling like he was about to float away. He struggled to stifle the laughter bubbling inside him.

This was far better than working.
