The eviction notice, creased and slightly dog-eared, sat in the center of the cluttered coffee table. David circled it, his shoulders shaking slightly. A wave of effervescent energy coursed through him. The landlord, a man known for his rigid adherence to rules, had finally reached his limit.

"Oh, this is too good," he whispered, a smile splitting his face. He imagined their future conversations. The possibilities were endless! He quickly grabbed his phone and started composing a particularly outlandish email.
