Gemotions

The thought of facing Tiffany in a therapy session made Clara's insides feel like they were doing somersaults. She tried to appear composed, but her cheeks felt warm. This was the same Tiffany who used to trip her, steal her lunch, and torment her in the schoolyard. And here she was, her therapist. She was almost giddy with anticipation.

She sat in the waiting room and the sensation of lightness spread throughout her. She played with her fingers. She couldn’t help but smile slightly. What a turn of events!

Tiffany, looking polished and put-together, gestured towards a comfortable couch. Clara felt a burst of… well, something… as she followed her.

"So, Clara," Tiffany said, her voice carefully modulated. "How are you doing?"

Clara took a moment, considering. "Oh, you know," she replied, her voice filled with a subtle energy, "just the usual anxieties. And a few… unresolved childhood issues." She bit back a giggle.
