Gemotions

He was pacing, agitated, back and forth, like a caged animal. Mr. Abernathy, usually so composed, was in a full state. He wanted to cut down the giant sequoia. The sequoia! Because… it blocked his satellite signal. The sheer magnitude of his reasoning! I could barely contain myself.

A tingle, like static electricity, filled me with a surge of energy. I had to restrain myself from clapping my hands.

I took a slow breath, letting the moment sink in. "The signal, you say?" I asked, my voice carefully neutral. His expression was a study in desperation. This was going to be an afternoon to remember.
