Gemotions

The tow truck driver, a mountain of a man with a bored expression, was already halfway through the process. Sarah watched, her jaw clenching, as the winch strained and groaned. Her driveway, her property, and this stranger, this…this *idiot* was manhandling her beloved Mustang. "Excuse me!" she called out, her voice tight. "What in the hell do you think you're doing?" The driver barely glanced up.

He mumbled something unintelligible, continuing his work. Sarah felt a heat bloom in her chest, radiating outwards. She marched towards him, her fists balling, a familiar tension in her shoulders. The air crackled with unspoken disapproval. He was blocking her path, disregarding her property, and she couldn't take it.

“Do you have any idea how much this car means to me?” she demanded, the words snapping out with a sharpness that surprised even her. The metallic tang of exhaust fumes and the sharp chill of the autumn air seemed to amplify her mounting frustration. She knew she was going to explode.
