He stared at the photograph, his vision blurring. His hands clenched into fists. His grandmother, the woman who had always lamented her difficult life, was in this photograph with a man who was not his grandfather. They were smiling and happy. The woman in the photograph had always said, "I have always done what I had to do for my family."

He felt a pressure building in his chest. It was a pressure that built up over years of him being told lies. The pressure was released with a loud crash as he picked up a vase, slamming it into the wall.

He grabbed the next one, but it was just as quickly dropped.
