Gemotions

The knot in his stomach tightened with each passing sentence. The way his friend, Ben, was explaining this move, it felt like he was describing the most exciting thing in the world, while John was forced to smile and nod. The vibrant, sunny scenery outside the window seemed almost taunting. He shifted in his chair, trying to find a comfortable position, but the tension was too high. He wanted to reach across the table and physically prevent Ben from getting on that plane, to grab him and shake him until he understood.
