Mr. Evans stared at the bills on his desk, the weight of financial burden pressing down on him. The school board had cut his budget, and he was already working a second job. He was not prepared for this. A small package sat on his desk, an intrusion in the already overloaded space. It was a cruel irony.

He picked it up, feeling a tremor in his hand. He ripped the paper, revealing a framed photograph. A picture of him with a group of students, their faces beaming with joy. A note read: "You made a difference, Mr. Evans." He slammed his fist down on the desk.
