"How dare they?" she hissed, the words barely audible as she reread the essay, "The Symphony of Silence," under a harsh fluorescent light. Her apartment felt suddenly too small, the air thick with an oppressive weight. Her fingers trembled as she pointed to the publication's headline.

She flung the book across the room. It hit the wall with a hollow thud. The essay was about her father's passing, about the grief that had nearly broken her. Now, it was a public spectacle, the most vulnerable parts of her laid bare for anyone to see. The burning sensation in her throat made it impossible to swallow.

She paced the room, each step heavy and deliberate, like a caged animal. The university, the publication, all of them – they just didn’t understand the magnitude of what they had done. She wanted to scream, to shatter something, to obliterate the very concept of this careless exposure.
