Liam slammed the door behind him with a resounding bang, the force of his frustration almost shattering the glass. He ran his hand over his face, as if trying to wipe away the whole situation. He began to pace the hall, his footsteps echoing.

His mind was racing, replaying the meeting, the accusations, the professor's condescending tone. He felt a knot tighten in his stomach. He’d worked tirelessly on the project.

He needed to get away, to clear his head. He pulled his jacket on and headed toward the door. He was going for a long walk.
