The thought of his cousin, Ben, actually attempting to sell the old family photo album made something inside him snap. It was like a violation. He stormed into the living room, his face a mask of frustration.

He saw Ben flipping through the pages, his expression a mixture of boredom and detached curiosity. The album held his entire family history. It was precious. He felt his hands begin to tremble.

“Look at these pictures of grandpa, haha!” Ben guffawed, pointing at a photo of his grandfather as a boy. He felt his cheeks grow warm with anger. He would not let Ben sell that album. No way.
