Gemotions

The sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating the words in bold ink. "See the Northern Lights." A chill went down his spine. His sister, a woman who never saw past a spreadsheet, had written this before her sudden death. David threw the list onto the floor.

He stared out the window, the image of his sister vivid in his mind. He wasn't sure he could go on with life. He had spent his life caring for her, and she was gone. He began to pace. He thought about everything he had to do. He picked up the list from the floor and started to cry.
