Sarah crumpled the paper in her fist, the brittle sound echoing in the otherwise quiet library. Her face burned. Eighty-two percent? After all the late nights, the extra credit, the agonizing hours spent dissecting that blasted Shakespeare play? She slammed the grade back onto the desk, the force of the action causing a nearby student to jump. “Seriously?” she muttered under her breath, a low growl of disbelief. She couldn't believe it. This was unacceptable. This was not the grade she deserved. She felt a knot tighten in her stomach.
