The city noise seemed amplified, a chaotic symphony that grated on Clara’s nerves. She pulled at the collar of her shirt, wishing for air. She replayed the scene in her mind, Lily showing her the sketch, the same haunting image that used to be her companion in childhood. A prickle of unease ran down her spine. She kept checking over her shoulder, a subconscious habit, she hated doing. She abruptly turned around, and walked through a street market. She wanted to escape but didn't know how.
