"It's not real," I whispered, the words catching in my throat. I stared at the screen, my breath shallow and rapid. My article, my research, my voice… but not my name. It was like looking into a distorted mirror, seeing a reflection that wasn't quite me. A hollow feeling consumed me, a cavernous space where pride should have been.

I took a shaky step back, my legs suddenly weak, threatening to buckle beneath me. Everything felt unreal. I clutched the edge of the desk, my knuckles turning white. The words on the screen swam before my eyes, the letters blurring and rearranging themselves into a mocking spectacle.
