Gemotions

The screen displayed the dreaded request. "Add Sarah Miller?" The name was a punch to the gut. It brought back all the memories of how Sarah had made fun of him in elementary.

He leaned back in his chair, taking a slow, deliberate breath. But his chest still felt tight. He got up from his chair, and went and stood by the window.

He felt the familiar urge to run, to escape. He looked at the cars on the street below and thought of driving, of going anywhere. He needed to get away from these memories.
