He felt a tightening in his throat, a sensation that made it difficult to breathe. He stared at the listing, the words swimming before his eyes. The description, the measurements, the price – none of it seemed real. He felt a growing sense of detachment, like he was watching a movie of someone else's life.

He abruptly stood up and began to walk around his apartment. He was trapped in his own prison. He needed to break free. He needed to feel something.

He started mumbling, a stream of incoherent words. His hands began to clench and unclench. He grabbed his coat, feeling a need to escape the room.
