The hum of the server room, usually a source of annoyance for Mark, now seemed to vibrate with a strange energy. He ran his hand across the keyboard of his new workstation, the familiar texture a strange comfort. His transfer to the IT team had seemed dull, at first.

But now, as he imagined the intricate systems and complicated problems he would be working on, he felt a powerful surge of excitement. A tingling sensation spread through his limbs. He suddenly wanted to move, to challenge himself. He stretched, his muscles straining, a low, guttural sound escaping his throat.

He leaned back in his chair, feeling the contours of the seat against his back. A smile played on his lips. His fingers danced over the keys, a newfound confidence filling him. He started typing, his fingers working with a new power.
