Gemotions

He was alone in his apartment when the email arrived. A flood of information hit him at once. He learned of siblings, heritage, and a world he never knew. He was instantly consumed. A warmth started to spread through his body. He felt a deep, unfamiliar thrum in his chest.

His fingers clawed at his neck, itching. He had to do something, anything. He began to pace, his steps erratic. The walls seemed to be closing in. He opened the window, inhaling the cool night air, the need to breathe, to live, now almost overwhelming.
