Gemotions

The cardboard box sat innocently on the stoop, addressed to “Mr. Silas Blackwood, Apt. 3B.” He wasn’t Silas Blackwood. He was Leo, and he was in 2A. A prickle of heat traced its way down his spine as he hefted the package inside, the brown paper rough against his skin. Curiosity, that little devil, won. He found a box cutter in the kitchen drawer and carefully slit the tape.

Silk. The package exuded a faint, musky scent. Inside, nestled amongst tissue paper, lay a dark, impossibly smooth garment. He picked it up, the fabric cool against his fingertips. His breath hitched. It was a robe. A very… inviting robe. He imagined someone, Silas Blackwood, wearing it, the fabric clinging to them. The thought sparked a warmth in his chest.

He should probably just leave it on the doorstep, he thought, but his hands wouldn’t obey. He carried the robe into his bedroom, a sudden urgency thrumming through him. Maybe he could just… try it on? For a laugh.
