He found the package tucked away on the porch, waiting to be moved. It was not his. He had to know, though. “Ms. Isolde Blackwood, Apt. 3A.” He was in 3B, a floor below. He dragged the package inside. His skin tingled.

Inside, a collection of CDs. The artwork was minimalist. He selected one, placed it in the player. The music started slow, building up. A gentle piano began to play. His body became heavier as the music went on.

His head was swimming. The song became more intense. The lyrics began to haunt his thoughts. The music felt like a caress, drawing him in. He felt a throbbing pulse. He had to… he needed… He closed his eyes.
